Individual engraved boxes carry the spices around a vertical wooden carousel. Oak, alder and walnut give the containers and mechanism enough contrast to make every laser-cut gear, symbol and border visible. The published guide runs to fifty-seven steps, which suggests this was never intended to be the quickest route from cupboard to paprika. The rotating frame does keep the collection compact, and the alchemy graphics make ordinary seasonings look as though they require protective gloves. Useful storage was achieved. Restraint was not part of the specification.
