Mac mini Tambour Riser
A tambour-fronted wooden stand that gives a Mac mini somewhere dignified to hide the desk clutter beneath it.
THE EXCUSE / DESK CLUTTER
The Mac mini needed furniture.
Small adapters, cards and cables had developed the habit of living beside or directly on top of the Mac mini. The solution was a wooden riser with fitted compartments and a tambour front that rolls around the curved inner track instead of demanding space for a hinged door. The computer sits on the finished organiser as though this furniture had always been part of the product. The twenty-seven-step publication documents the layered shell, flexible slatted blind and mineral-oil finish. The desk became tidier; the Mac mini acquired a tiny wooden building.
