Foldable Wooden Tripod

A folding wooden tripod made in phone and DSLR versions, because cameras deserve unnecessarily handsome support.

THE FOLD / TWO CAMERA SIZES

Three legs, fewer excuses.

Laser-cut wooden parts become folding legs, a central pivot and an adjustable camera platform. Two versions were built: one for a mobile phone and another able to support a DSLR. The legs fold inward for transport, keeping the tripod compact without asking the camera to balance on improvised workshop debris. The nineteen-step guide and source files document the assembly, hardware and repeated edge finishing required to make a stack of cut parts behave like a tripod. Three legs, two camera sizes and very little enthusiasm for black plastic.
